Nui Organics: Organic Merino Wool & Cotton Clothing for Children {Holiday Gift Idea – Giveaway}

Nui Organics

Nui Organics offers 100% organic merino wool and cotton clothing for baby and child.

“Nui” means ‘big’ or ‘important’ in Maouri, the native language of New Zeland. Their name reflects their commitment to providing only the best non-toxic clothing without harsh chemicals for your child.

Nui merino wool is very different from “traditional wool”. I remember having wool sweaters when I was a young child and hating how itchy and scratchy they were.  So uncomfortable! Merino wool is super soft, itch free, smooth and non-irritating.

Merino wool is also a great insulator, it creates its own microclimate around the body with unique temperature regulating qualities. Keeping little ones warm when it’s cold, and cool when it’s warm.   It is also super breathable and wicks moisture away from the skin. Simply brilliant!

We recently received a couple of items from Nui Organics to try. Their Bee Sweater is beautiful and has a classic look,  the sweater is made with Merino wool and  it is super comfortable and soft.  I love that it resists soiling as well because it naturally repels water, that means less washing!

Nui OrganicsI also like that the Bee Sweater can be machine washed and tumble dried. We have washed it many times already and the colors look great and the shape has been kept without an issue.

We also received their Kina Child Slippers Natural.  These are made from ultra soft New Zealand lambskin. They are breathable and temperature regulating as well and they keep my son’s little feet warm and comfortable.

Nui Organics

I love how flexible and comfortable these are. These slippers have elasticized ankles for easy on and off and they are perfect for indoor use, really wonderful for the cold winter days.

The Kina Child Slippers come in three sizes:  Small: 5.9″ (15cm) Suits 1-2 year age,  Medium: 6.2” (15.75cm) Suits 2-3 year age and Large: 6.7” (17cm) Suits 3-4 year age.

I really appreciate the beautiful style of the pieces we received from Nui Organics. They have been made to last, they are functional and safe for my little one and the planet.  I recommend you take a minute to visit their online store to check out their great selection of merino wool and organic cotton pieces available.

Holiday Gift GuideTheir unique, sustainable pieces would make wonderful gifts for loved ones this holiday season.
