E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year with its first-ever release on Blu-ray™ on October 9, 2012. The new Anniversary Edition Blu-ray™ Combo Pack includes the 1982 theatrical movie, an all-new interview with director Steven Spielberg, and “The E.T. Journals” featuring never-before-seen footage from the set of the film.

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is definitively a classic. This sci-fi adventure once again captured the imagination of my entire family and brought out the child in all of us. This sweet story of the lovable little alien mistakenly left behind by his “people” while on a scientific mission on planet earth is entertaining and full of action.

We enjoyed watching the deleted scenes from the DVD bonus features and the E.T Reunion interviews. Really nice seeing the cast as adults talking about their experiences on set after watching the movie. Drew Barrymore was so adorable in this movie, right?

Aw, this was one of my favourites as a kid. My youngest son was freaked out by E.T. when he was younger, but now he says he will watch this with me! = )
