Cuddledry Poncho Towel {Review & Giveaway}

Cuddledry Poncho Towel {Product Review}

I often think my dream job would be to travel the world discovering unique children’s and baby products and bringing them back home to introduce to the North American masses. While we do have access to many different products here in Canada, we are undoubtedly missing out on thousands of really cool things for our kids. A British company called Cuddledry has ventured into the global markets with their innovative and award winning baby, toddler and children’s bath and towel products.

Cuddledry Poncho Towel {Product Review}

Little Miss E took their SPF 50+ Poncho Towel for a spin and I was incredibly impressed. Falling under their beach line, this towel is perfect for a day at the outdoor pool or at the beach as is it fully SPF protected and offers great coverage. Plus, if your toddler is anything like mine, being wrapped in a towel for any more than 3 seconds is simply unacceptable. I love that the poncho design makes it much easier to keep the towel on and seems more like a sweater or jacket, hood included, which is a way easier sell over here. I have also seen on many an occasion, a toddler napping by the pool post swim or a mum frantically reapplying sunscreen immediately after exiting the water and I really appreciate that this towel has the sun protection built right in so that there is less of a worry.

Cuddledry Poncho Towel {Product Review}
The poncho is ridiculously soft, even after being washed and tossed in the dryer. Made of a blend of cotton and bamboo, the towel is not only silky soft but super absorbent as well and apparently this type of fabric will stay this soft regardless of age due to the bamboo content. I do wish there were more colour options available for this particular product (many of the other products in the line come in various patterns or colours) and perhaps there are plans to add to the availability for the poncho as well.

The poncho is currently available online and retails for approximately $51.95 USD which is certainly higher than the average towel/poncho for a toddler but I think the quality of this item will speak for itself and justify the higher price tag.

If you feel like you are alligator wrestling your toddler dry after a bath or if  you have a pool or spend half your summer at the pool or beach like most of us do, Cuddledry is worth checking out.

    I was specifically looking at the Toddlers’ products. I really liked the Cuddledeer with its antlers; the Cuddletwist Bamboo Hair Towel(really original); Cuddlemoo- white and light fawn like a cow; and the white Cuddlerobe. These were some of my favorites, but I really liked them all.

    We have a deer cuddledry towel and it’s so cute. I love the bamboo, they’re so soft. If I could afford it I’d buy all bamboo grown up towels too! And if mine could have antlers, all the better
