Tips to Help you Fight the Winter Blues

Sometimes the dark, cold days of winter can end up making you feel a bit “blah.” Escaping to a tropical, sunny paradise to perk up is an option but if you are stuck in the city then keep reading for some tips to help you fight the winter blues. All things you can do from home and without having to fetch your passport.

  • Bubble Bath at the end of the day

Are you having a long day? How about a nice bubble bath to de-stress and focus on relaxing. You can even get some candles, your favourite book, and some nice relaxing music? Your own spa at home without driving anywhere.

  • Energize with a Healthy Smoothie

Fruit and veggie smoothies can help protect your immune system and stimulate your body. Keep the winter germs away and have a smoothie a day to help perk you up and stay healthy!

  • Go Outside And Get In The Photos

Explore and exercise, go hiking with the family, go up the mountains and get into snowboarding or snowshoeing. Exercise is a great way to release endorphins and make you feel good! Take photos, to capture the fun and get IN the photos! And for whiter and brighter teeth try using Arm & Hammer™ Truly Radiant™ Clean & Fresh Toothpaste and Arm & Hammer™ Truly Radiant™ Clean & Fresh Battery-Powered Toothbrush. Get the best to get the best whitening and freshening experience!

  • Take care of your skin

Don’t forget to take care of your skin! I know you are not wearing dresses and shorts every day but having smooth legs and beautifully moisturized skin can make a difference in how you feel.  Nair™ Wax Ready-Strips are easy to use and leave your skin soft and silky! Use your favourite moisturizer after and you are set.

Do you have any tips for beating the winter blues?

I agree with going outside to exercise and enjoy the outdoors! You may as well enjoy it while it’s here. 🙂

I started Spring cleaning! I do a little bit everyday. I was diagnose with osteoporosis and walking outside is not an option so I walk on the treadmill, I can’t wait to get back outside for my walk. Great tips!

Thanks for sharing these tips. I’m battling a bad case of the winter blues right now. Bubble baths are one of my favorite ways to unwind.
