I remember coming home from the hospital with my brand new baby and a piece of paper the hospital gave us with a chart to keep vital information regarding his feeding schedule, number of diaper changes, sleep time and more.   Soon enough the small chart was full and we continued writing until we hit the end of the page.

Finding that piece of paper was always challenging and even more when it was the time to tell our midwives about his schedule. For some reason it was always somewhere other than where it was supposed to be.  I realized then that I needed something else to help me keep track of everything.    I wanted something simple, easy to fill out and colorful enough that I would actually be able to find it anywhere in the house (even in the dark).
Of course then I continued using blank paper and it wasn’t ideal.  Looking back I really wish I had it all somewhere organized so I could refer back to it even now.
For our second baby (if we have one) I will be prepared! One item I will be purchasing to have ready at home before the little one’s arrival is one of Bumble’s My Bum Books.  A My Bum Book is a daily 2-month 24/7 journal for baby that is perfect for tracking your baby’s daily information. Including feeds, diaper changes, wake time, sleep time and more. Plus you can also record your baby’s immunization and growth information.

I absolutely love the simplicity of the My Bum Book and how easy it is to enter all of the information. It is modern and clean and bright and I really like the kiwi debossed cover.  The size is great too (7×7) because it fits inside a diaper bag and it is perfect for taking with you to the pediatrician or midwife.
If you are pregnant or you are a brand new parent and you are looking for a useful journal this is a great pick.  I recommend you try it out.  If I find myself with baby number two this is a must have. They also have a twins version of the Bum Book if you happen to be having twins!

A final note to say that Bumble products use FSC certified papers supporting responsible use of forest resources.   Love it!
