To celebrate Canada’s 150th year, LEGO is asking young LEGO lovers in Canada to leave the instructions behind to create the LEGO City of Tomorrow using only their imaginations. Inspiring kids to create their own fun city where they can make a city where buildings are all sizes and shapes and even spaceships rule the skies.

We received a fun LEGO City of Tomorrow kit including some LEGO CITY bricks, a limited-edition Mini Figure, and our own personalized builder’s ID card. My eldest has been building non-stop since we received it and I loved that he didn’t once ask for instructions. It has been all about creating using his own imagination.

Want to get involved? Stay tuned for Toys’R’Us Events & Contest in your city.  All little builders will join the LEGO City of Tomorrow construction crew with their very own, super official, ID badge and they will be briefed in a unique LEGO virtual reality experience, led by the LEGO CITY OF TOMORROW mini figure foreman. A build table will be set up in each store, stocked with thousands of LEGO CITY bricks so kids can bring their ideas to life.
