There are only a few weeks left of school before the summer break, and when school’s out and the sun is shining, it can feel like a full-time job to keep kids entertained, and ideally, not glued to a screen.
If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the lookout for fun, hands-on activities that spark creativity, encourage movement, and maybe even teach a thing or two.
That’s why I’m loving these two clever kits designed to keep little minds and hands busy all summer long. Bonus: We’re giving away one kit, so keep reading to find out how to win.
Nature Trek Kit: For Little Explorers on Big Adventures
If your kiddo loves the outdoors or you’re hoping to inspire a little more appreciation for fresh air, the Nature Trek Kit is a fantastic pick. This adventure-ready bundle comes with quality binoculars, a reliable compass, a headlamp for those dusk hikes or backyard camping nights, and even a pedometer so they can track their steps.
What I love about this kit is how it transforms a simple walk into an expedition. Whether you’re hitting a trail, exploring your local park, or just checking out the backyard, kids get to feel like true explorers. It’s perfect for children aged 6 and up, encouraging both physical activity and curiosity about the natural world.

Rock Painting Kit: Creativity That Travels
For those days when you’d rather stay cool indoors or need a quick, no-prep activity that still packs a creative punch, the Rock Painting Kit is a total win. It comes with 10 real pebbles and everything your child needs to decorate them, paints, patterns, and markers included.
Kids can create and display their artwork, or join in the fun of the Kindness Rock movement by hiding their masterpieces in local parks or along neighbourhood paths for other kids to find. It’s creative, low-mess, and feels meaningful—what’s not to love?
