I love photography. Whether it’s a great photo I took myself or a professional photo of a special event, we have photos hanging on almost every single wall in our home. I’ve been wanting to get a couple blown up into canvases for a while now, so I was excited to hear about Posterjack. I love all of the choices they offer, especially the canvas options. We’re helping get the word out about Posterjack’s 2016 Snapshots Project by showcasing a photo that suits their May theme, which is all about Flowers. It took me a while to choose a good photo that fit with theme, so I eventually settled on two different ones.

The first photo is from our wedding. It was almost 7 years ago, but often feels like a lifetime ago! I was in love with the flowers at our wedding. The bouquets we carried, the boutonnieres, the centrepieces; they were all gorgeous. We found an amazing local flower farm and since we were trying to create as eco-friendly a wedding as possible, this fit well with our theme. All the flowers were grown locally and we gave the flower farmer/florist free reign to do whatever she wanted. We told her that we wanted something colourful, incorporating some wild flowers, and we weren’t disappointed. The bouquets give all of our wedding photos that *pop* and they are a huge focal point. This is one of my favourite photos as it also showcases the beautiful flowers. I went for the solid edge on this canvas, choosing white. You can also wrap the edge with the picture or do a mirrored edge. I’m really happy with the final product and it looks awesome hanging on the wall!

For the second photo, I chose one of my baby girl, who turns one in just two weeks. She is a Spring baby and I will always associate her birth and birthday with the arrival of Spring, gorgeous sunny days, and flowers just starting to pop through. I remember that after an especially long winter that felt like it would never end, our tulips out front had just started to pop through shortly before she was born. I love this particular photo of her outside. She is enthralled by the outside world. and her cute flowery spring shirt goes well with the theme. I also chose a straight white edge for this canvas.

I am so happy with our Posterjack canvases and I’m also excited to have found an affordable custom canvas option in Canada. Did I mention they are super speedy? I think it took just 4 days from the time I ordered until the day they arrived!

As part of Posterjack’s #2016Snapshots project, Posterjack will choose a photo each month from one fan and send them a $100 voucher code to turn their photo into Posterjack art. Make sure you check out their Instagram page and follow along each month, sharing your awesome photos for a chance to win! Also, don’t forget to think outside the box on themes.

Disclosure: I was gifted a free product code, this is however not a paid post and all opinions and views on this post are 100% my own.
