Tropical Matcha-Colada Smoothie Recipe

Yield: MAKES 3-4 CUPS OF SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

  • 1 can of coconut water
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 3 TBS lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla meal replacement or protein powder (optional)

Instructions

Simply combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. The measurements are all flexible – if you want it thinner, add more coconut water (or plain water). If your pineapple is room temp, simply add a few ice cubes to the mix to chill the temp and make the texture slightly slushier. If you want to go ultra-tropical, try adding a few chunks of mango, papaya or a squirt of key lime juice. Enjoy!
