Avent natural cup

AVENT recently sent us a couple of their new Natural Drinking Cups to try out. These revolutionary cups are designed with toddlers in mind (12 months+)  to help them transition to independent drinking.

The Natural Cups are BPA free and they feature a non-spill open rim that allows little ones to drink like grown-ups while preventing leaks and spilling.  The cool thing about these cups is that they do not have a spout or straw and children are allowed 360-degree drinking, just like with a regular cup.

Each Natural Drinking Cup comes with an internal leak-proof valve that is easy to clean and can be sterilized. Plus the cup has a  lid to keep the cup hygienic and spill free while on the go.

I must say my son has been loving his new AVENT Natural Drinking Cup, he likes that he is able to drink from all around the rim and that the cup has trainer handles. Plus the lip-activated valve prevents waste and mess and  keeps drinks where they should be.

Something that I have to mention is that you must ensure proper assembly to have a leak-proof cup.  I didn’t pay attention to the instructions when I first assembled it and water was leaking no stop. If water is leaking just by holding the cup upside down it means you have NOT assembled it properly. Water should only come out once the valve is activated by your child’s top lip pressing against the lid.

In general I love that all parts of the cup are dishwasher safe and can be sterilized. Plus not dealing with spouts or straws is also great.  I definitively recommend the Natural Drinking Cup from AVENT for toddlers 12 months and up that are looking to transition to grown up drinking.
