#leapTV party #mommyparties

This afternoon we hosted a MommyParty sponsored by LeapFrog. We invited some friends over and we had the opportunity to try out the brand new LeapTV system. This educational, active video gaming system built for children ages 3-8 years old has been designed to teach little ones through motion as they jump and dance. The LeapTV has a library of over 100 LeapFrog educator-approved games and videos that are educational and lots of fun.

The LeapTV system has an easy to use interface and a small controller that has been designed for little hands. It also comes with a camera that captures little one’s movements. All games include clear audio instructions that are great for young kids who don’t yet read, perfect for pre-schoolers.

After our party started the little ones got a chance to take turns and play with the LeapTV. We had a few warm-up rounds to introduce the system to the children, for some of them seeing themselves on the screen and “touching” things by waving and pointing at them in the air while looking at the screen was a new concept, but they all learned very quickly! They were all having such a great time playing the games.

We were provided with the Dance and Learn and Sports video games and we played a few games of each.

I love how the childrenย were engaged and moving the entire time. They were practicing letters, numbers and more while having lots of fun. LeapTV games tech reading, mathematics, science and problem solving skills.

Our party was a success and we all had a fabulous time! We have a no-screen time rule for weekdays and our son is allowed to watch TV only during the weekends. Instead of asking for TV this evening he asked to play some more games. With the LeapTV I love that he is learning while playing and the selection of games is great, I can say without a doubt that the LeapTV is a big hit at our home!

Here are some fun videos from our party:
