AR MINi

As a yoga teacher, playing music during my classes is a necessity. Lugging around a cumbersome iPhone docking station in order to play music, especially at the beach or outdoor classes, is impractical and difficult. I had been researching various options for small and portable speakers for a while when I received the AR for Her Mini Flower Wireless Speaker. This little speaker features Bluetooth technology, which is a huge plus for me as I have a great selection of playlists saved on my phone and often utilize music apps to play different songs depending on the style of class and my clientele.

The Mini Flower allows the user to connect to any smart phone or tablet with Bluetooth technology, but also comes with an adaptor for headphones as well. A charging cord is included and the rechargeable battery has a play life of approximately 6 hours, which is pretty great. The wireless capability has a 30 foot range that would be helpful if I wanted to set the speaker up in the middle of a class and keep my phone handy to control the playlist. The speaker comes in black, blue or pink (according to the AR website, but the sample I was sent is white so it may be available as well at other retailers) and retails for $34.99 USD.

We tested the speaker out with a kitchen dance party since I am not currently teaching yoga while on maternity leave and my big kid certainly approved! I thought the quality of the sound was amazing considering the size of the speaker and absolutely can’t wait to use it when I start teaching again. Also, I think it will make the perfect outdoor patio speaker.

I don’t personally look for feminine motifs such as a flower on a speaker when I am looking for such a product but that being said, the flower on the AR for Her Mini Flower Wireless Speaker is a nice detail. This product is very good and reasonably priced so I wouldn’t hesitate to try other products in their line.
