Looking for a smartwatch designed for active people? The new Polar M600 is an Android Wear™ smartwatch perfect for an active lifestyle, keeping track of your runs, swims, sleep and any other daily activity you want to add.

I received a test unit of the Polar M600 to try and I have been using it for about a week.  The Polar M600 features the Google Android Wear smartwatch platform, including a selection of apps for every need. The Polar M600 is also compatible with phones running Android and iOS, so if you own an iPhone like I do you can still connect to the watch.

First thing I like about the watch is that I don’t have to wear any bands to track my heart rate. You can track your heart rate directly from your wrist while wearing the watch! Yay for less things to remember and wear when working out.

I downloaded the Polar Flow app and I love that I can track my exercise and sleep, all in one easy to use app. I also like that I can check my daily stats on the go wherever I am. Seeing graphs and statistics to check how your day is progressing and your activity levels is always encouraging for me.

If you are a runner there is also a running program you can follow and plan in Polar Flow, there are different distance targets depending on your own personal goals. If you want to know how many calories you’ve burned based on your weight, height, age, gender, your individual maximum heart rate (HRmax) and how hard you’re training you can also find all that information there.

The Polar M600 smartwatch is waterproof, so it is suitable for swimming and it has integrated GPS functionality, great when you are going for a run and you want to see your route, distance, etc.

I love the sporty look of the watch and how powerful it is. So far I am enjoying wearing it daily and I recommend you visit the Polar website to learn more about all of its features. The Polar M600 retails for: $399.99 CDN
