My body has changed a lot after having my two babies and as I get older. My skin isn’t as toned and tight as it once was and there are stretch marks on my tummy and tights. Change is a reality of life, however, by exercising daily, eating a balanced diet and taking care of my skin I am nourishing my body and mind and getting some necessary ME time into my daily routine.

Below I am sharing more about my daily self-care routine and what I do to take care of my body.

EXERCISE: I try to fit at least 15-20 minutes of exercise into my days and I stay active with the boys. We play tennis, go hiking, and avoid driving to nearby places and walk instead when possible.

Hiking Essentials Checklist

DIET: I don’t follow any specific diets as I don’t like depriving myself, however, I try to keep my meals balanced with lots of veggies and a good daily portion of fruits as well. Green smoothies are my favourite way to get mine and the boys’ veggies in for the day.

SKIN CARE: For my skin, I use sunscreen every morning and stay away from the mid-day sun as much as possible. I have also started using the new NIVEA Q10 Firming Body Oil daily. This body oil provides firmer-feeling skin in 2 weeks, while evening skin tone and visibly reducing the look of stretch marks. I have been applying it on my tummy and thighs and I love that my skin feels soft and moisturized and the oil absorbs quickly without leaving my skin feeling oily. The New NIVEA Q10 Firming Body Oil is infused with Avocado Oil and it is suitable for all skin times.

Body Care And Skin Nourishment After Having Kids

I love my new mom body and I appreciate the changes because they remind me how strong and amazing my body is to have made and nourished two perfect little people. By exercising, eating healthy foods and taking care of my skin daily I am keeping my body healthy and I am more and more comfortable in my own skin.

How do you take care of your body? Do you have a self-care/beauty routine?
