lamaze mat

I recently received the Lamaze: Sit Up and See Activity Gym to try out with my 5-month-old little guy and we love it!. This adorable activity gym is versatile and it’s perfect for floor play-time, sit up and play time and tummy time, all in one!

The handles at the back of the mat easily turn to prop the gym up and baby can sit up to play and look around the room. At his age my son loves spending time in the sitting up position because he can easily interact with us. We also use it for lay and play time and tummy time when he gets tired from sitting up.

The play gym features a safety harness that allows for baby to be placed in the sitting position safely, I like not having to worry about him falling off the mat when sitting. This play gym also comes with two plush pillows that are great to keep baby comfortable during his play time. I use the bigger pillow for tummy time and the smaller one under his neck when he is in the sitting position.

The arch moves and it has different positions so the hanging toys are always in front of the baby. The arch includes a cute sun mirror and a spinning mobile with three toys. The sun mirror plays sounds and has some lights that are activated when baby touches it.  The toys are great for keeping my son entertained and happy.

If you are looking for a play mat for baby I recommend you check out the Lamaze Sit Up and See Activity Gym. It allows little ones to play in 3 different positions and I love having the option of having him sit up to play, great as babies get older and they want to be able to see the action around them.
