Build a bear

Build-A-Bear Workshop is celebrating the grand opening of its first Canadian Discovery Store at the Tsawwassen Mills Outlet in British Columbia. We had the opportunity to explore an experience the new Discovery Store this past weekend with our boys and we loved it. They both made super cute bears and had the best time.

We loved seeing the new logo, the store set-up and colour palette for the walls. The Build-A-Bear stuffer was also so tall and right in the centre of the store. Their new “Imagine Wall” displaying different trends and fashions tied to pop culture was also super fun, so many outfits to pick from!  See some photos of the store below:

Both our 6 and 3 year-old loved the experience of building their own bears and following all the steps. From picking their starter bears to choosing sounds, stuffing them, giving them a heart, picking an outfit and making a birth certificate for them. All so exciting!  At the end they went with police officer bears with a Chase sound recording from “Paw Patrol”. One was named Fluffy and the other Firebear. See all the bear building steps here:

The boys had a lovely time building their bears and the staff at the store were super friendly and helpful. If you are local I recommend you check out the Build-A-Bear Discovery Store next time  you are at the new Tsawwassen Mills Outlet. Check out the full workshop wall to see all of the designs available right now, including Halloween, Star Wars, Trolls and more!
