Do you get frustrated with hard water spots and soap scum stains in your bathroom’s shower glass walls? Those can be tough to clean, and they can make your otherwise clean bathroom look dirty!

I used to be a fan of bleach and commercially available products designed to quickly get rid of soap scum. Some even advertised the product as no scrub solutions.

Those strong chemicals worked, but they were harsh, had strong smells, and were irritants.

I remember needing to open windows and getting fresh air into my lungs after spraying those and cleaning my bathrooms. That couldn’t be healthy!

Once I became a mom, all that changed, and I switched my cleaning products to mostly natural solutions, without the strong chemicals I used to use regularly.

In this post, I am sharing what I use to clean my glass shower doors at home to get rid of all the unwanted water spots and soap scum quickly, with NO strong chemicals.

Materials

  • Scrub sponge
  • Spray bottle
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Glass cleaner
  • Microfiber towel

Instructions

    1) Fill a spray bottle with wine vinegar.

    2) Wet the shower glass walls by splashing water onto them.

    3) Spray vinegar on the shower glass walls, saturating them completely.

    4) Let the vinegar sit for 15-20 minutes.

    5) Grab the scrub sponge, sprinkle baking soda on it, and use it to scrub the glass. The mix of baking soda with the vinegar on the glass will help dissolve the tough to get rid of hard water spots and soap scum.

    6) Rinse completely.

    7) Dry the glass with your microfiber cloth or paper towel.

    ENJOY the clean-looking glass!

Now, I use baking soda and vinegar to clean many things around my home. For example, the mix works well to clean my kitchen, and I often use it to clean the kitchen sink.
