Halloween Disney Junior

The summer is now officially over and we are making the best of the new season. The leaves on the trees are changing to beautiful colours and we are preparing to celebrate one of my favourite holidays of the year, Halloween!

The colder nights make it a pleasure to snuggle on the couch for movie family nights and the Disney Junior Channel is always our first choice for our little one to watch. Lately, after dinner we settle on the living room to watch one of his new favourite shows: “Little Einsteins”.  We love all the soothing classical music that’s play through the episodes, we also love that there are no commercial breaks!

This month Disney Junior is offering yet another fabulous contest and some special Halloween programming. Keep reading to make sure you don’t to miss all the fun!

Have you ever been to a Disney On Ice experience with your little one? We are going next month and we are very excited to attend. Last Halloween we went to a small local event that featured a children’s play with some fun characters and my son loved the lights, music and the fun story.

I am sure he is going to have a great time at the Disney On Ice show watching his favourite characters. We went to a live show at Disneyland earlier in the year and it was great as well, Disney sure knows how to put on a show!

Disney Junior’s Halloween Programming

This October Disney Junior is celebrating Halloween every weeknight at 6pm ET.  Featuring brand new Halloween themed episodes of  Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Sofia the First, Stella and Sam, Henry Hugglemonster,Bananas in Pajamas and more!

Plus on October 30th and 31st Disney Junior will be airing Halloween episodes all day long!

We are still not sure about what costume our son is going to be wearing this Halloween but I know that it is going to be his pick. Everyday it changes if you ask him, somedays he wants to be a pirate, then the next day firefighter, then a super-hero and so on.  Now at 3-years-old he really understands the celebration and he is very excited to dress-up and go trick-or-treating.

We are also going to a friends place for a Halloween themed party before Halloween. This year I am checking out the Disney Junior’s website for great Halloween game ideas, crafts and colouring pages and more! You can check it out here as well.
