gondola

The Sea To Sky Gondola is located in Squamish, British Columbia, a short 45 minute drive from Vancouver. The gondola ride is 10 minutes to the top and it gives you access to all to the amazing natural sights of the Howe Sound and its surrounding mountains.

This weekend my husband and I decided to take the kids to Squamish to enjoy the winter wonderland the Sea to Sky has to offer. There hasn’t been any significant snow in Vancouver this season so we thought it would be fun to take the boys to have some white Christmas holiday fun!

We spent most of the day enjoying snowshoeing as a family, playing with the snow and winter walking. We also had a delicious lunch and hot chocolate to warm up, it was our two-year-old’s first hot chocolate EVER and of course he LOVED it!!

The kids had lots of fun playing outdoors and checking out all of the Christmas decorations and they were both so tired that they ended up falling asleep in the car and sleeping all the way home. Today was a very successful day of outdoor fun and we really enjoyed the crisp winter air!

Below are some fun photos from our visit, it is SO beautiful up there friends!
