lacc
Have you heard of Lacc Beauty? I hadn’t yet but now I am in love with the company, they provide a magnificent range of highly pigmented, high-shine luxury nail lacquers. Lacc lacquers are toxic-free, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly and UV inhibiting!  Wow, right?  Gorgeous polish AND ethically responsible, can it get any better?  Wait for it…..the company are based out of Vancouver, BC!

Here is a list of all the bad stuff that is NOT in their polishes

  • NO paraben
  • NO gluten
  • NO formaldehyde
  • NO formaldehyde resin
  • NO DBP, camphor or toluene

I don’t even know what lacchalf those chemicals are, but they sound ominous so probably best to avoid them!

So back to h0w gorgeous the polish is, I got to sample the Holiday Collection which contains four rich, festive shade of polishes.  The red has gold shimmer running through it which just looks so decedent.  The purple is regal and I was drawn to it immediately.  The metallics are great on their own or as accents for nail art.  I am not skilled at nail are so please do not expect anything too special!

laccSince I am a crazy, klutzy, busy lady I don’t bother painting my fingernails, but I love have painted toes.  It makes me happy to see bright colourful polish.  I also love when the polish goes on nicely and wears well.

So here is the tough part of the review for me…I painted my toes and then I continued running around after my kids, working, and went for a hike.  Life is rough, right? So far my Lacc polish is still  looking amazing and the gorgeous purple and silver are so pretty together.

Available at 750+ Shopper’s Drug Mart locations across Canada, Lacc will keep you colourfully updated for seasons to come.  (other retailers here)
