Things I Check When Booking My Own Family Vacations

After travelling all over the world with my family since I was little, and with my own kids for over 15 years, I’ve learned that choosing a family vacation is about so much more than finding a beautiful resort at a good price.

Over the years, I’ve learned which details can make a big difference in how a family actually experiences a vacation. The photos might catch your attention, but things like the beach, flight schedule, transfer time, resort layout, and overall atmosphere can be just as important.

Now, when I’m booking a vacation for my own family, I look at a lot more than the resort photos. And honestly, many of these are the same things I look at when helping my travel clients.
