Black Friday is almost here, and I see Black Friday sales advertised everywhere already.

Every year I think I’m going to add something cute and glamorous to my wishlist… but let’s be real. As a busy mom, what I actually want are things that make my life easier, my home cozier, and my days a little more comfortable. So this year I’m fully embracing the practical, mom-approved wishlist, zero shame.

Here’s what’s truly in my Black Friday cart this year, with links to shop some incredible deals, if you are looking for the same 🙂

Cozy Loungewear I Can Live In

Give me all the soft matching sets. If I can wear it for school drop-off, cleaning, working from home, and then straight onto the couch after bedtime… sold. Comfort is the theme of the season, and I am here for it! This wasn’t me in my 20s, but now in my 40s, I take it and I love it! These are on crazy Black Friday Sale and come in tons of different colours!

A Vacuum That Doesn’t Annoy Me

Lightweight, cordless, and powerful enough to pick up crumbs, sand, turf (soccer moms understand this one), and whatever mystery debris the kids bring home. This is my version of “luxury” now, and honestly, I’m okay with it. For those of you with pets, this vacuum looks amazing and is on a crazy deal.

Restocking My Skincare Favourites

Black Friday is the perfect time to refresh the things I actually use: a good moisturizer, a brightening serum, and maybe a face mask I will attempt to use once the kids are asleep. Winter skin needs all the help it can get, it gets so dry for me, I need to really take care of it this time of year! There are so many different brands and products already on sale here

Travel Gadgets to Make Family Trips Easier

You know I’m always looking for things that make traveling with kids simpler. I’ve been eyeing:

Packing cubes (lifesavers),

A portable charger that actually lasts,

Water filter for your water bottle, for those times you have to refill your water in a water fountain or drink tap water (I wish I had this during our Walt Disney World trip a few weeks ago),

A lightweight beach bag that folds flat.

A Really Good Blanket

The kind that instantly lowers your shoulders the moment you pull it over you. Preferably fluffy, oversized, and impossible to share. Everyone deserves their own blanket, and I’ve been eyeing these blankets that look like hoodies and would be the coziest; they are on a CRAZY sale too

A New Coffee Maker or Frother

Because morning coffee is a ritual at this point. Anything that makes my kitchen smell like a café at 6 a.m. is a yes. Don’t we all just need our morning cup of coffee? This Nespresso Vertuo is on sale 50% off right now!!

Something Completely Unnecessary but 100 percent for Me

Maybe a pair of earrings, a pretty journal or a 2026 planner agenda (on sale for just $12!!), or a new perfume. One thing with zero practical purpose, but that just brings me joy.

Rainy Soccer Practice Survival Gear

This one is new on my wishlist, but I honestly needed it. If you’re a soccer mom standing on the sidelines in November rain, you get it.

Here’s what I’m hoping to get this year (all on sale too!!):

A warm, waterproof sideline jacket, think long, insulated, and hooded.

Thermal leggings so I’m not shivering by the first whistle.

Waterproof boots (the cute ones that still keep your toes dry).

A rechargeable hand warmer for those freezing hands. I went through way too many disposable ones last year, and it feels wasteful!

A portable rain cover or umbrella tent, yes, they exist and yes, I want one, they are super inexpensive too on sale right now!

Touchscreen gloves so I can answer emails or chat with clients without freezing.

If we’re going to spend half our weekends at the field, we might as well be comfortable, right?
