Playtex®: VentAire Bottles and NEW Nipple Variety Pack {Giveaway}

Playtex®VentAire BottleVentAire Bottles

Finding the right bottle for baby may seem like a daunting task. I was stressed about introducing the bottle to my exclusively breastfed son at 6 weeks old and after a lot of research I decided to try the Playtex VentAire Bottles.

I wanted my son to be able to drink my expressed milk from a bottle sometimes and for him to continue breastfeeding full-time without any issues.

I am happy to say that my now 3 month old had no issues switching from the breast to the bottle and then back to breast after trying the VentAire bottles.  He learnt how to use the bottle very easily and now experiences minimum gas issues while drinking from the bottle.

Something worth mentioning is that the VentaAire bottles have a unique bottom vent that reduces air ingestion and angled design that allows for semi-upright feeding, which can help in reducing ear infections.

The Playtex® VentAire® bottles retail for $7.99, they are top rack dishwasher safe BPA-free and leak-proof and they can be used with any new Playtex nipple.

Playtex® Nipple Variety Pack

I am very excited to introduce you to the new Playtex® Nipple Variety Pack. This new revolutionary pack features a selection of distinct silicone nipple shapes and styles that allow you to match your baby’s preferences easily.

When my first son tried the bottle for the first time I remember going through many different nipple styles and speeds before we found the magic one that worked for him. I had to go to the store and purchase a bunch of different bottles to try the nipples. Now, you can buy a variety pack and test them all to see what your little one prefers.

The package includes two different nipple-flow speeds, slow and medium, and four distinct shapes including Breastlike, Naturalatch, Fullsized for a wider mouth and Angled for semi-upright feeding. You can easily mix and match nipples and bottles  (VentAire® Bottles and Nurser with Drop-Ins® Liners Bottles) to find the perfect bottle-nipple combination for your baby.

  • Breastlike Shape – Featuring a sloped area around the nipple that mimics the shape of the breast
  • Fullsized – Developed for wider mouths, this nipple mimics large size nipples
  • Naturalatch – Designed to be most like a mothers breast, it features a raised, textured area that is like the breast and is designed to promote latch-on
  • Angled – Created to promote upright feeding which can help in reducing ear infections

I tried all the nipples and my second son loved the Naturalatch nipple right from the start! Makes sense since he breastfeeds and the nipple is designed to be most like a mom’s breast.

The Playtex® Nipple Variety Pack is available at all major retailers across Canada for a suggested retail price of $7.99.
