Lillypost Book Subscription Service {Holiday Gift Idea}

Do you have little booklovers at home? Story time is one of our favourite daily routines and we have two little boys who love reading and get super excited every time they get a new book. Reading allows them to used their imagination in an engaging and entertaining way and we love nurturing their passion for books.

Enter the new Lillypost Book Subscription Service. Created by Book Depot, one of North America’s largest book wholesalers, Lillypost provides a monthly delivery of carefully curated, age-appropriate books for little ones. Each box includes individually wrapped books and occasionally other goodies, giving each child a sense of surprise and anticipation surrounding the books’ arrival.

We have a 3-month subscription to Lillypost and received the November box for our toddler and eldest child not long ago. They both were jumping up and down when they found out what we got in the mail. Opening the boxes was so exciting and unwrapping each individual book was lots of fun. It felt like Christmas morning for the boys!

Lillypost encourages caregivers who gift a subscription to donate the books to local libraries after their child has progressed to the next level of reading ability. They are partner with Project Night Night, and each month, Lillypost donates one new book to Project Night Night for every box they ship. I really love supporting companies who give back!

Both boys LOVE their new books, they are all age appropriate and we found they were great picks for them. You can see all of the books we received this month below with details for each subscription available.

The Board Book Box is great for children aged 0-2. In each box, you will find 5 perfect reads that will bring so much joy to the baby or toddler in your life! Also included in this box are lovely stickers of our dancing fox.

Our 6-year-old has read all of his new books and his absolute favourite was “What a Wonderful World”, I played the song on my phone after we read the book once and went back to re-read it with the music playing as we sang. It was beautiful!

We think a Lillypost subscription would make a wonderful holiday gift for a book lover in your holiday gift giving list. The books come wrapped in gorgeous gift wrapping and ready to put under the Christmas tree. Plus knowing that they will receive a new box filled with books each month will keep the excitement going for months after the holidays are over.
