Lysol Click-Gel {For an Easier and More Efficient Cleaning Experience}

lysol

As a busy mom of two, I am often looking for efficient ways to keep my home clean. Saving time when cleaning my bathroom is important because I like spending my time focusing on things other than cleaning. I mean, who has the time to clean toilets multiple times per day?

Enter the new bleach-free Lysol Click-Gel cleaner, an efficient and easy-to-install cleaning gel that stays in your toilet bowl for up to a week, cleaning with each flush while keeping the bathroom smelling nice and fresh.

This gel dispender is super easy to install. Each box comes with four individually wrapped applicators that contain a single gel dose. Each of these applicators will last one week. To apply, you must pull off the seal, place the applicator towards the inner top edge of the toilet bowl and push down on the top, then pull the applicator away leaving the gel on bowl. Every time you flush the toilet the water that refills the bowl gently dispenses the gel and helps keep the toilet bowl clean for up to a week. The lavender-scented gel cleaner I received also offers a soothing flowery aroma.

I really like that I can apply the Lysol Click-Gel cleaner and forget about it for a week, no scrubbing needed. Using this in our main shared bathroom meant that I was able to go a bit longer between full toilet bowl cleans and save precious time. I did notice that for it to last longer I had to place it towards the front of the toilet instead of the back as somehow the gel was used up faster if placed in the very back of the toilet, perhaps because more water was passing through the back. Also, having less people flushing the toilet would probably make it last longer. We personally found it was an average of five to six days.

I appreciate any product that helps me clean my home efficiently and saves me time. I recommend Lysol’s Click Gel toilet bowl cleaner if you are looking for an easier cleaning experience and you want your toilets to last longer between full scrubbing. After using, please remember to recycle the empty applicator instead of discarding in the trash.

NEW Lysol® Click Gel™ keeps toilets clean & fresh…with just one click.

Simply press the Lysol® Click Gel™ applicator against the inside of your toilet bowl until it clicks, and let Lysol do the cleaning for you. With every flush, this product delivers continuous clean and freshness for up to 1 week.

Keeping your toilet clean and fresh has never been easier. Visit Lysol.ca for details and coupons.

I will be buying this next as soon as the blue duck in the tank is all gone. I hope it cuts down on urine smells when the kids are always forgetting to flush.

I have recently bought a Lysol spray product to clean my bathroom and I am delighted with the results. I have tried other gel cleaners for our toilet, but was disappointed with the results.
Because I really like their latest bathroom cleaner, I am quite willing to try these gels and hope they work as well as the cleaner. Thank you for telling us about it.

Lysol is one of my favorite brands and I will be trying this product. I could really use this in my toilet.

I really don’t understand how this keeps the toilet clean – the water comes from above so it can’t get under the rim of the toilet at all. I went to their website but got a runtime error so couldn’t check it out there.

As the water flushes it swirls around and a bit of the cleaner is released with every flush, it goes around the toilet and cleans as it goes. You can smell it each time as well.

I’ve just flushed mine again to watch what happens and with mine the water flows straight down, it doesn’t even swirl around the bowl. It’s one of those low flow ones so that’s maybe the reason. The lavender smell would still come but I can’t see it cleaning my toilet 🙁

Try placing it lower than where I positioned mine next time, to ensure water will touch it when it flushes down.

That would certainly get it wet so that the smell would be there but without swirling all around the bowl it’s still not clean. I have noticed with normal cleaner that I have to use a brush to swirl the cleaner all around properly.

I think that even without swirling there is enough cleaner that is released in the water and touches the bowl to help reduce stains and keep it clean.

These look so neat my only concern is that the kids may try and pick it off!

Julie, I had to explain what it was to my 4-year-old once, I told him not to touch since it was a cleaner and he was fine with that. Try placing it in the back of the toilet or a bit more “hidden” if you think your children would be tempted to touch 🙂

Looks neat! I’d be worried that the swirling action wouldn’t be nearly as effective as scrubbing though.

Time has passed and I am still using my Lysol spray. I really cannot praise it enough. It cleans and disinfects. One of these days, I hope to remember to buy the Lysol Click Gel and give it a proper trial. Thank you for all the information that you give us.
