Breville Barista Pro {Review}

Coffee is a must-have in the mornings when you are a parent. My husband and I love coffee and being able to make our own barista-quality coffee at home has been amazing. Once you have the privilege to taste high-quality coffee that you can make at home, you don’t want to ever go back to making “regular” coffee.

We recently received the Breville Barista Pro Espresso Machine, and we have been enjoying our coffee even more. The Breville Barista Pro offers barista-quality performance with a new easy to use screen interface that provides all the information you need to create cafe-quality coffee at home. It also features a built-in grinder delivers the right amount of ground coffee on demand, for full flavour.

The Barista Pro also takes just 3 seconds to heat-up, so fast! Perfect for those busy mornings when you are in a rush and need to go from bean to cup fast. Even when the kids ask for “foamy milk” for breakfast, you can get coffee and steam milk for everyone in minutes.

What I love the most about the Barista Pro is the digital screen. The interface is super easy to navigate, and I can set up the perfect cup of coffee in just a few seconds. Love it! And of course, the brushed stainless steel body looks sleek and modern and matches our kitchen and appliances perfectly.

INTERFACE

The LCD with grinding and extracting progress animations is super easy to use. The screen provides you with all the precise information you need to make coffee exactly the way you like it, every time. A few simple settings and you are ready to enjoy the best cup of coffee, from the comfort of your kitchen. I used to think using an espresso machine was a lot of work and only baristas could do it, not anymore. I can make my barista-quality coffee at home.

ESPRESSO EXTRACTION

Digital Temperature Control (PID) delivers water at the right temperature +/- 2°c, ensuring optimal espresso extraction. Low-pressure pre-infusion gradually increases pressure at the start and helps ensure all the flavours are drawn out evenly during the extraction for a balanced tasting cup. All done automatically after you set it up on the screen and with the press of a button.

The Breville Barista Pro Espresso Machine is a superpowerful, yet compact and easy to use espresso machine. I love how simple it is to make the perfect cup of coffee at home. Every morning I am confident I’ll get a high-quality coffee before I start the day and I love that. We have saved so much money by making our own barista-quality coffee at home as well. Worth the investment as the machine is a bit pricey, but you will definitely save money in the long run.

    That built-in burr grinder sounds super handy. I’ve never had a proper espresso machine at home, but I have worked with the commercial ones in an earlier life. I need this in my current life!
