Dry Skin Rescue with Vaseline Products

vaseline

During the winter months, skin can get dry because of the cold weather and lack of humidity in the air. To help rescue my dry and dull skin I was recently sent a selection of Vaseline products to try. I received samples of their classic Vaseline Jelly, their Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Repairing Serum, their Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Lotion and their Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair (unscented).

The products in the Vaseline Intensive Care lotion line offer long-lasting benefits to help heal and repair dry skin with continued use, they also contain concentrated micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly to moisturize skin at the deepest levels.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Repairing Serum offers up to a 10x improvement in dryness over time as compared to untreated skin, and its gentle formulation also helps calm severely dry skin.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Lotion heals very dry skin and allows skin to reveal its natural glow. This lotion is made with pure cocoa butter and it absorbs fast and leaves a non-greasy feel.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair (unscented) is appropriate for sensitive skin and moisturizes to relieve stubborn dry patches of skin.

Finally, the original Vaseline Jelly is hypoallergenic and works naturally with your skin to help rebuild moisture and heal dry skin.

My skin is very sensitive and I suffer from dry skin patches during the winter; they are itchy and can get painful as well. I have to use a moisturizing lotion every day and sometimes even twice daily.

I have been using the lotions I received from Vaseline every day after the shower and I am already noticing a big difference in my skin. My absolute favourite lotion has been the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Repairing Serum, I really like that my skin is super soft and healthy-looking immediately after application.  I also like that it absorbs quickly without clogging my pores.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair is unscented so it doesn’t have any strong fragrances and I’ve noticed my dry skin patches are itch-free after application; they are almost all gone now as well.

I have also tried the Vaseline Jelly with my 2-year old son. He has dry skin and has suffered from eczema since he was born so I often use it during flare-ups. I love that it is hypoallergenic and it works right away to relieve the itch.

If you or somebody in your family suffers from dry skin, I suggest trying any of the products in the Vaseline Intensive Care line.  They have been specifically formulated to help heal and repair dry skin and they can be used daily. Right now Vaseline is also donating a portion of their proceeds (up to a maximum of $100,000) towards their “Healing Project”. 1 Vaseline Purchase = 1 Donation Towards Healing – The purchase of any Vaseline product will support their partnership with Direct Relief to deliver dermatological care, medical supplies, and Vaseline Jelly to those living in crisis and disaster. Additional info on the Vaseline Healing Project can be found HERE.

Vaseline® believes that with deep-healing moisture you can transform dry skin into healthy-looking skin. We know this because we are one of the original skin experts, helping to safely heal dry skin for over 140 years in North America. Today, micro-droplets of our Vaseline® Jelly can be found in all Vaseline® products. I get really dry skin during the winter as well, but I try to increase my fluid intake. Clean water and fresh juices seem to help hydrate my skin beautifully.

My skin is so dry, it is driving me to distraction! I’m heading to now to do some shopping and will definitely be picking up the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Repairing Serum.

I have some of the Vaseline products, since I too suffer from dry skin especially on my heels often with cracks and a little bleeding, so painful to walk then. I sometimes have the same problem with my fingers and cracking, no fun at all. I use the trick with socks at bedtime, whereby I smother my feet in Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Repairing Serum pull on thick socks and go to sleep. It works wonders and I have done the same with gloves on my hands too.The Healing Project sounds fantastic, glad to hear that Vaseline are giving back.

Vaseline has so many great products to keep skin healthy all year round. I remember when I was growing up, there was always a bottle of Vaseline lotion in the cupboard 🙂

Here I am again, touting the benefits of Vaseline Intensive Care, Advanced Repair. I have dry skin and need to moisturize at least twice a day. I love this lotion as it is greaseless, unscented and really good for my skin. I have tried all sorts of lotions and this product is on a par with the best of them and less expensive as well. Both my husband and I benefit from this Vaseline product.

I do use vaseline products during the day on my elbows too when they get too dry, would love to use it at night on them too but don’t know how to wrap them up – cling foil didn’t work well. 🙂
