Cars 3 Piston Cup Showdown Game from Spin Master Games

Both my boys are big Disney Cars fans. We own the Cars 1 and 2 DVDs and we watched the new Cars 3 movie last month. We even have the soundtrack for the new movie already and play it all the time. Yes, friends, we are BIG fans!

We were recently given the opportunity to try out the new Cars 3 Piston Cup Showdown Game from Spin Master Games and we were super excited to play with it. The game is perfect for the boys, they love Disney, cars and some healthy competition. It has been the best after school game for them and I am sure that we will be playing with it lots this summer as well.

I love that this game was super easy to set up. I got the batteries installed, put the track together and we were ready to race. After pressing the gold cup, there is an announcer’s voice that says ‘Start your engines’  “Green or Red Light”, just like in real racing. Hit the gas pedals to GO when the light is green and the announcer says “Green light!” STOP when it turns red and you hear “Red light!” Easy! And forget about pumping the gas when the light is red or you will be called out and will have to move your car back.  The first player to reach the end and trigger their “finish” button wins.

This Cars 3 game is fun and easy and even though it is recommended for ages 5 and up, my 3 1/2 year old loved it and played with his 6-year-old brother without an issue. They’ve had so much fun playing with this game!

Both of these look like great games! My son is a huge Lightning McQueen fan, and his birthday is coming up. I think I might need to get both of these for him!

This looks like such a cute game for any fan of the Cars movies. I am sure my son would love it!
