When I first saw this kit I was overly intrigued. Playdough, a cold weather favorite in our home, and electricity. I jumped at the chance to check it out. I knew my curious children would eat this up.

For the first use, I did it by myself. I’m not always interested in science, other than to teach my kids, I figured I had better see how it worked before letting them in on the fun. I’m not ashamed to say that I was excited when that little light lit up as you can see below.

This kit includes a lot of pieces to get your creative juices flowing. It also included a recipe for playdough that you can make yourself. There really isn’t much that you need to get started, just some everyday kitchen items to make playdough (or use store bought) and four AA batteries.

The DIY Electro Dough Kit also comes with six ways to get you started on lighting up your LED lights. It has some little notes in about LED lights, circuits, and being unique in creating.

Technology Will Save Us is about #futuremakers and #futureinventors. They have nine different DIY kits. They also sell boxes, which teachers can purchase for multiple kits for student uses.

These kits are great for the budding inventor, spark the imagination and creativity. The kits are rated at different ages, for instance, the electro dough recommended age starts at four years, sparking their interest young.
