curiousgeorge

I can’t believe my son will be starting Kindergarten in a month. This summer is going by fast and we have been looking for fun shows to watch with him to help get him back into the school spirit.

Below some of our favourites streaming on Netflix right now.

Curious George

Curious George has been a favourite for many years. We love that each episode features George working around a series of incidents and problem solving to make things work. Curious George is a fun, toddler safe show for little ones.

magicschoolbus

The Magic School Bus

Based on the book series of the same name “The Magic School Bus” is an educational series that is super entertaining and fun. Great show for school-age children with lots to learn and explore. Be sure to check it out if you are not familiar with it.

walkingwithdinos
Walking with Dinosaurs

Walking with Dinosaurs is a six-part documentary television miniseries that was produced by the BBC and narrated by Kenneth Branagh. Recommended for older children (9+) this is a very cool show that uses  computer-generated images and animatronics to recreate life when dinosaurs were around. Highly recommend this one.

planetearth

Planet Earth

Lately we have been watching a lot of BBC documentaries. Planet Earth specially features a variety of episodes with a global overview of the different biomes and habitats on Earth. Some of the footage is breathtaking and worth watching as it was filmed in high definition.

The complete series is available on Netflix right now!
