Vessi 100% Waterproof Shoes Review

We live in Vancouver, Canada, which means lots of rain and mud all year round. Add some snow and slush in the winter, and you’ll understand why I wanted to try out a pair of Vessi waterproof shoes. I am also a mom of two very active, busy boys. The boys love playing outdoors, rain or shine, so I also got them some Vessi shoes to try.

Vessi shoes are 100% waterproof/weatherproof shoes designed locally in Vancouver.

Vessie shoes are vegan, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly. They use a patented Dymatex outer layer knit material that makes their shoes the perfect pick to wear during any weather, rain, snow, slush, or mud. This material regulates temperature as well, and it is super stretchy. 

I take the dog on daily walks, and walking during heavy rainfall is often part of my daily routine. Unfortunately, I have rubber boots that are never comfortable for long walks, so I don’t wear them often because they kill my feet. Enter my brand new Vessie Weekend Sneakers and Weekend Chelsea Booties.

I am absolutely in love with the Weekend Chelsea. The boot silhouette is super cute, and it works with a pair of jeans or with my leggings; they look so great. They are super soft, lightweight, and highly comfortable. They also have a high traction rubber sole to keep you safe and avoid slipping when wet. I do not have to wear my rubber boots anymore; these are just fashionable and fun, and they keep my feet and socks completely dry. 

I also got a pair of Weekend Sneakers for myself and one for each of my kids. I love that now we are matching and staying dry together.

My youngest loves that his shoes have pull tabs for easy on and off, and he doesn’t have to deal with shoe laces coming undone when he runs and plays at school. They look so good on the kids as well. 

The boys are super active; they play soccer at school every day, even on wet, rainy days, so having sneakers that keep their feet dry has been life-changing. Their regular shoes were always soaked when it rained, and they would come home with wet feet and stinky shoes from being wet all the time.

Now, wearing their new Weekend Sneakers, they can play all they want in the rain, jump in puddles, play in the mud or snow, and their feet are always dry and comfortable. The rubber sole also has great grip and keeps them from slipping when it is wet.

I also love my pair of Weekend Sneakers; they are the comfiest and super cute with a pair of jeans, a sweater, and a rain jacket. The perfect Vancouver mom look if you ask me.

We have put our Vessi shoes to the test, with me walking to and from school daily, going on long walks with the dog, and the boys taking them to school every day. I have to say that these are a must for your wardrobe. Even if you live somewhere where it doesn’t rain often. Having a pair of these ready for those rainy days is a lifesaver. Vessi shoes are comfortable and keep your feet dry during even the craziest rain storms.  

Yup, we have tested that first-hand. In this close-up, you can see how the water beads up on the surface of the shoes and rolls off. Nothing is absorbed, and no matter how much water there is, your feet ALWAYS stay dry!
