Not long ago I received an e-mail from Daniel Thompson, Creative Director of Canadian Daniel Thompson Beauty Inc., and I was introduced to a new line of skin care products that are free of paraben, dyes, fragrance and formulated without petroleum based ingredients.
I was excited to learn more about them and I received a bottle of their Cleanser and a bottle of their Moisturizer to try.
I started using both daily and I have to say that they are unlike any other skin care system I have used before. The Daniel Thompson moisturizer does not have any slip agents or fillers so it really doesn’t feel like a traditional moisturizer. I was careful to follow the instructions and not overuse it and I found I didn’t need a lot of product to see results.
Using both their Cleanser & Moisturizer provides the same results of using eight separate products from a traditional skin care line. I used to have to use many more products for my daily routine and I love that I am now using two products only, saving both time and of course money.
The secret behind Daniel Thompson’s products is that they use a medical based carrier that delivers active ingredients based on hormonal fluctuations in the skin. Because the active ingredients are delivered only when the skin actually needs them there are no synthetic carriers and less risk of irritation. So cool!
Both their Cleanser and Moisturizer can be used on any skin type and they address any skin care concern. My skin is usually combination (oily in some spots and very dry in others) and I love how evenly hydrated and soft it is now. No more oily spots! My face has been looking and feeling great all day long and I am really happy about it so far. I will definitively continue to use both products.
Daniel Thompson has been recently selected as the cornerstone beauty offering for the first fully integrated eco-department store in Canada (Terra20 opening May 2012). Exciting news for them.
They also manufacture a complete range of mineral make up that is 100% Canadian made and free from dyes, fragrances, siloxanes, phthalates, parabens, petroleum and formaldehyde preservatives. Be sure to check out their website for more information on their cosmeceutical collection.
