808 Audio: Thump Audio Speaker {Review}

I can remember when my musical taste was all my own.  There were no kids songs on my mixed CDs.  I had an eclectic, quirky mix of songs from multiple decades mixed together with no rhyme or reason other than that I loved to listen to them.  I would drive from Lake Louise back to my home once a month with my windows down singing at the top of my lungs.  I also used to make an effort to style my hair every day before kids, but what can you do?  I have been humbled in more ways than I can count.   Now I listen to just as much Baby Beluga as I do anything else in the deep blue sea and you know what?  It is all ok.  A dance party in the living room with my two boys is an *awesome* place to be.  And so is hanging out in my bedroom after they’ve gone to bed listening to something calm and mellow.  And so is working hard doing yard work with my hubby listening photo thump_detail-2_zps1l14qia0.pngto something with a great beat to keep us motivated. What does all this have in common?  We use our Bluetooth compatible Thump speaker from 808 Audio everywhere we want to enjoy music.  It goes all these places and connects us to our favourite songs on our phones.

808 Audio offers Studio quality sound at prices that is affordable.  The Thump cordless speaker is small (2 inches tall) and lightweight so I love that I can bring it from room to room and also out on the patio.  It has a good range at about 30 feet which I have found in the past is not always the case.  I LOVE that it has 6 hours of play per charge so we can use it a few times before we need to recharge it again.

I’m sure you noticed it is really, really cute!  I chose the white which is safe and husband friendly but check out the hot pink and royal blue colours–aren’t they great?  They have a non-skid base which keeps the speaker from sliding around and the honey-comb patterned top I’m sure has some sound quality aspect but again I’m just here for its good looks.

I am no techie by any stretch of the imagination so I am happy with good sound quality, low price and fun styling.  Really what more do you need in a ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker?  And Baby Beluga sounds sick on this thing!

    love the fact that this is cordless and has a non-skid base. 6hrs of play per charge is pretty good too 🙂
