Maileg Rabbit

Little Cool Toys was established by a new mom after she moved from Denmark to Canada to settle down in Quebec with her Canadian husband and infant son.  After her move she noticed how difficult it was to find simple toys that were made of high quality natural materials. Shortly after that Little Cool Toys was born.

Little Cool Toys offers a wide selection of eco-friendly natural toys that are made of wood, organic and recycled materials.  They offer unique hand crafted toys and a collection of organic dolls, crafts, outdoor and indoor toys and more.  They also work with manufactures in Canada, USA and Europe.

We received a medium size Maileg Rabbit Copenhagen to review and our 2-year-old loved it. The Maileg rabbit boy is dressed in a blue knitted cotton sweater, he has striped sweatpants and a matching scarf.  He also comes with cool denim sneakers that can come off.  In fact all clothes can come off.

The medium rabbit measures about 50 cm (20″) and its eyes and nose are stitched on.  Maileg is a Danish brand that offers a gorgeous collection of children’s plush characters like the little rabbits, they are made of natural materials like cotton, linen, wool and wood.

Right now we are teaching our son to take his own clothes on and off and the same with his shoes, the Maileg rabbit has been extremely helpful because we can demonstrate on it and get him excited to try it by himself. He loves “practicing” with the little rabbit.

When friends see our son with his Maileg rabbit they usually ask about it because they’ve never seen one before.  I really love how unique it is.
