Sensia 200D Connect: Portable Music Streaming and Radio System Review

Sensia 200D

We have been trying out the Sensia 200D Connect from Pure for a few weeks.  The Sensia 200D is a portable music streaming and radio system that features a large 5.7″ colour touchscreen.

The Sensia 200D uses WiFi to connect to the internet and allows you to listen to internet radio, digital radio, FM, podcasts, ambient sounds, music streamed from your PC or Mac and from your Apple or Android devices. You can also stream music from their Pure Music subscription service.

I like that with an easy touch of the screen you can switch from FM radio to your favorite digital radio station or podcast. One of my favorite features is that the Sensia 200D supports instant and timed recording of live internet and digital radio to a USB memory stick. It makes recording your favorite podcasts very easy.

While you listen to your favorite tunes you can also check your local weather report, your Twitter and Facebook accounts, RSS feeds and your photos stored locally or on Picasa. All in one device!

The Sensia 200D comes in five different colours and it has a modern rugby ball-like design that looks great in any room. It also comes with a light modern-looking remote that allows you to control the device without touching the screen.

I like that the device is very light and easy to carry. It is a great portable device.  Pure also offers a rechargeable battery that can be added to the Sensia 200D to make it even more portable.

Sensia 200D

I am pleased to say that so far I am very impressed with the Sensia 200D Connect. The device was easy to set up after I received it,  I was able to connect to our WiFi and to start playing digital music within minutes of opening the box.  With regards to the touchscreen I like its responsiveness and that it is easy to navigate. All menus are clear and user friendly.

This device has great sound quality and balance, all vocals and speech are also delivered clearly. I definitevely enjoy the high quality sound.

The Sensia 200D Connect is a powerful device that allows you to listen to your favorite music and podcasts and helps you stay connected.  If you are in the market for a portable music streaming and radio system I recommend you consider the Sensia 200D Connect from Pure.

In the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the office, in the bedroom and in life, these household items could help ease the burdens of assisted daily living for someone who is blind or visually impaired:
