With spring finally here, we are talking about some fun new dolls. Our guest contributor Rianna Ganief had a chance to try out some of the new Boxy Girls Dolls with her little one and she is giving us their reviews and thoughts about them below.

My daughter is 3-years-old and loves dolls, accessories and playing dress up. Needless to say, she was so excited to receive her new Willa and Nomi Boxy Girls.

My daughter commented immediately how cute the dolls are and how much she liked their eyes and hair. What I noticed was how unique and diverse each doll is, which allows your child to have a doll that resembles themselves! They have varied styles that you can easily mix and match.

The concept of this doll is fresh and modern, Boxy Girls love to online shop and have a serious eye for fashion! Each doll comes with 4 shipping boxes and inside of those mystery boxes comes a surprise.

The boxes themselves are cute, impeccably detailed and with adult supervision, easy to open. We thought the paper confetti was a nice touch and a sweet surprise. My daughter was thrilled to open her packages and found clothing, earrings, makeup, bags, jewellery and stickers in her boxes. I admit, even I was excited to see what she got!

We also received a Fashion Pack which came with 6 boxes, one of them larger than the regular boxes; which definitely added to the enjoyment! My daughter is constantly switching up her dolls styles which she loves so much! The dolls and the accessories are well-made and are easy for my 3-year-old to play with. I liked how flexible the dolls limbs are, which allows for more movement.

Since the accessories are small, I can see how easy it is to misplace them but we plan on storing them in a special box. I liked the easiness of their packaging as most of the toys I’ve come across require so much effort for removal.

I highly recommend Boxy Girls because of its ability for bringing out your child’s creativity. It provides hours of fun, make-believe and interactive play! The recommended age is 6 years old and up, but it was a big hit with my almost-four-year-old daughter and her 8-year-old best friend. At $20, the price is fair considering it comes with a fully clothed and accessorized doll and 4 mystery packages.
