Play-Doh Disguise Lab – Despicable Me Minions Playset {Holiday Gift Guide}

My kid loves Play-Doh. My kid also loves everything Minions. The new Play-Doh Disguise Lab featuring Despicable Me Minions is basically his dream activity. As soon as he saw the box he was elbow deep in making multi-colour minion hair. This new Play-Doh set is nice and small and doesn’t have a ton of little parts and pieces that almost always go missing in this household. Included in the box are four brightly coloured small tubs of Play-Doh as well as two Minions and their haircut seat. It also has small scissors which your child can use to style their Minion’s hair.

The recommended age for this toy is 3 and up and I really do think the high end age limit is not specified as you really can’t be too old to play with Play-Doh. There was also nothing to assemble and the pressing function of the growing hair is very easy to do. My 6 year old happily played with the Minions creating various hairstyles and experimenting with different colour combinations. He is also a big fan of cutting things so the scissors were a big hit as well.

The Play-Doh Disguise Lab Featuring Despicable Me Minions Playset retails for approximately $16.99 (now on sale for just $9.97US) and is available at most major toy retailers. If you have a Minions fan in your family this would be a perfect gift this holiday season. This would also be perfect if you are looking for a very reasonably priced gift for a gift exchange or secret Santa draw for your kids.
