Tech Toy Ideas For The Kids This Holiday Season

tech holidays

We are excited to introduce you to two very innovative tech toys your kids will love this holiday season. The KidiZoom Smart Watch from VTech and the Tekno Robot Pet from RPToys. Both these toys would make fabulous gifts for children in your life.

KidiZoom Smart Watch from VTech

watchVTech® has outdone itself again with the next generation of its award-winning Kidizoom® Smartwatch, the coolest wearable gadget for kids to date! Incorporating feedback from moms and kids, the new Kidizoom Smartwatch DX gives them even more of what they’re looking for in a smartwatch, as it is ideal for play and entertainment on-the-go for kids that want multifunctional tech, just like their parents. The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX is affordable, comes with a sleek, durable design, and offers rich, engaging, age-appropriate content kids crave, as well as a higher performance than the original Kidizoom Smartwatch with hours of entertainment and educational features that help sharpen classroom skills.

Perfect for young photographers, the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX boasts double the internal memory of the original version so kids can take more pictures and videos to share with family and friends. Plus, with a new sensor, images are brighter and sharper, for a noticeable improved image quality. The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX also has more play value than ever before with eleven entertaining games kids can play using the touch screen, exploring their creativity with fun photo effects, frames and filters, and also the ability to download more from VTech’s Learning Lodge® app store. Dynamic children will have a blast exploring three exciting action challenges that utilize the new motion sensor and even more games and engaging sound effects to movement.

In addition to the alarm, timer and stopwatch, the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX gives kids the opportunity to learn to tell time while having fun with an app featuring a friendly owl, and also two new tools including a calendar feature and a calculator so they can work out simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems. Using the included micro USB cable children can also upload photos and videos as well as recharge the battery. Fashion-conscious kids will appreciate the watch’s new design which provides a trendy, updated take on the blue and vivid violet colours. They can also personalize their watch and show off their style when choosing from more than 50 strikingly fresh, eye-catching 3D clock faces offering fun animations, displayed in digital and analog time.

I own a smartwatch and my 5-year-old loves playing with it, he has told me he wants to get one just like mine many times. I am excited for him to try the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX and all of its amazing features when he gets it this Christmas!

Tekno Robot Pet from RPToys

puppy

TEKNO Newborns are part of a new generation of micro pet robots that are smaller, more interactive and animated than ever before. Newborns are sweet and adorable life-like robotic puppies and kitties that respond to your voice, physical gestures, lights and sounds. Engineered with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, Newborn’s interaction offers many emotions and expressive eye patterns to share their feelings.

The TEKNO Newborn is a fantastic gift for the boys. We are not able to have dogs or cats where we live right now and both boys have been asking for a dog for a long time. These adorable life-like puppies and kitties are great fun to play with and don’t require any of the responsibilities of a real pet.

That Tekno newborn is something both the girls and boys on my list would absolutely adore. It combines their favourites – pets and technology. It’s such a great pricepoint too.

Our oldest was not really into this one either….however our 2 year old loved the puppy and took him everywhere! Wish you could somehow turn the noise off!
