SANUS Flat Panel TV Tilting Mount Giveaway!

SANUS TV Mount

Do you own a flat panel TV that’s not securely mounted to the wall? Most parents are unaware of the safety risks that flat panel TVs pose for kids. Due to increasing size and new ultra thin designs, today’s flat panel TVs can easily tip over when bumped or pulled, toppling off of furniture and causing injury or even death.

This is why SANUS, the leading designer and manufacturer of flat panel TV wall mounts, has partnered with Safe Kids Worldwide to help educate consumers on the risk of unsecured flat panel TV’s, SANUS and Safe Kids Worldwide offer safe solutions for families across the nation by reducing TV tip-over related injuries and fatalities.

A 2011 US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) report on flat panel TV safety revealed that a child is killed every three weeks from an unsecured TV and every 45 minutes a child visits an emergency room due to a TV tip-over related injury. Scary!

Be sure to check out SANUS informational safety video below:

    • Angela V — July 18, 2013 @ 11:11 pm (#)

it should do it automatically without taking you to twitter if you have logged in with the widget, it’s a bit different from Rafflecopter.

      • stacey dempsey — July 18, 2013 @ 11:18 pm (#)

ya the travel tweet worked fine but the giveaway tweet dosent work? all the others seemed to work fine though

    • Angela V — July 19, 2013 @ 8:18 am (#)

Not sure why it wouldn’t work, but if it still doesn’t do anything for you then please copy the text and paste in a tweet. You can get the text by pointing your mouse on the word tweet, I’ll try to figure it out.

      Thanks!

      • stacey dempsey — July 19, 2013 @ 8:21 am (#)

The Smile Monkey blog and short video, quickly demonstrated how mounting a flat tv is important for the safety of young children and pets. This particular mount from Sanus can also be used with other CRT non-flat tvs which are also dangerous to children & pets. I’ll be looking to mounting my tv for the safety of my pets and the children that come to visit.
