I love staying indoors and feeling cozy at home during the winter. Our home is now fully decorated, and in the evenings, we all gather around the Christmas tree and watch some of our favourite Christmas movies together. So much fun!
I am really looking forward to the Christmas break coming up and having the kids at home for a couple of weeks; there will be lots of snuggling on the couch under a warm blanket, sipping some hot chocolate. Can’t wait!
Our home doesn’t have a fireplace, but we love the 4K fireplace options on Netflix. The sound of the fire and the way it looks brings all the cozy feel to our home.
I also love all of the Christmas classics available to stream on NetflixΒ Canada right now. The kids go to their Kids profile when looking for a show and select the Christmas tree to see all of the Christmas shows available for them too. That is such a great feature!
Below you can find some of our favourites we have been watching on repeat.
I must confess that my mom and I watched “A Christmas Prince” together when she was visiting a few weeks ago. Yes, it was a bit cheesy but a fun, girly, Christmasy movie for sure. Β The “Trolls Holiday Special” was pretty funny, and both boys really enjoyed it.
Any holiday classics you watch every year? We watch Elf yearly and love it! Such a great Christmas movie.
Disclosure: This is a partnered post with Netflix. However, all opinions and views on this post are 100% my own.

Love all the shows you suggested.
Netflix is a must essential for winter hibernation.
They sure have lots of great Christmas shows. Love Netflix.
I love the fireplace and wish I had a real one but I don’t so this would be a great substitute. Where on earth did you find it?
I absolutely love this!! I had no idea Netflix had a fire place option and I am on Netflix all the time! that is so cool! I usually turn on the christmas music on the tv but when i would like it more silent the fireplace option would be perfect. I love hearing the crackling of the fire
Cheesey “Hallmark” Christmas movies are my guilty pleasure at this time of year… I watched The Christmas Inheritance and enjoyed it.
