This is a guest post written by my husband Dan.
Although I have been wearing Levi’s most of my adult (and teen) life, it has actually been a couple of years since I bought a new pair. Since I was in need of some new Jeans I headed to Mark’s to try out some of the many different styles of Levi’s that they offer. I have personally never been a fan of the “skinny jean” fad since my build is not suitable for this style and I find them way too tight and constrictive. Fortunately Levi’s had two styles of Jeans that caught my attention as they seemed to be a nice balance of modern styling but still retaining the classic Levi’s look and feel.
These jeans have a pretty timeless looking straight cut to them with and appear to be quite durable. When I tried them on I was very pleasantly surprised to feel how stretchy they were due to the Elastomultiester mixed in with the Cotton. This made them so much more comfortable and easy to move around in than the %100 cotton jeans I used to wear in the past. It makes a huge difference to their wearability and it makes me wish all of my jeans were made from this material. I like that these are still smart enough to be worn with business casual attire but you could just as easily be lazing about with these on the weekend.
The 541’s have a slightly more modern styling to them in terms of the stitching, cut and coloring. They sit a bit lower on the hips than the 504’s and are a bit roomier in the thigh and seat. These jeans also had a bit of elasticity but not as much as the the 504’s. They felt a bit closer to the style of jeans I am accustomed to wearing but the elasticity makes them more comfortable. These feel like a solid and classic pair of blue jeans I could wear for many years.
I was gifted product for review consideration, however all opinions and views on this post are 100% my own.
