Summer is quickly fading into fall and transitioning your wardrobe into the new season can be a bit tricky. Some days may be a bit cool and some days may be still hot and humid, it could be hard to know when to put away your shorts and tank tops.

One great approach is to employ the use of layers. I personally find that during this time of year I still wear a lot of tank tops, I can wear a lightweight cardigan or jacket on top if it cools down and then remove them if I am too hot. I also start wearing  jeans instead of shorts and I pair them with boots. I love wearing boots during in the fall!

As part of a promotional campaign I was recently invited to shop at our local Mark’s to help with my fall wardrobe transition. It was interesting to learn that Mark’s is currently the #1 jeans retailer in Canada and that they offered an extensive denim collection for men and women. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited our local Mark’s store as they had a great selection of Levi’s, Buffalo, Silver, DH3 jeans and more. My husband and I both ended up picking up a couple of jeans to help us transition to fall.

Be sure to come back to the blog in the upcoming weeks to read more about the jean brands and styles we found, what we chose and what we think of them!

One of the jeans I purchased were the DH3 Mid-Rise Mia Skinny 5-pocket jeans. I absolutely love the contemporary style and the fact that they come with rolled up legs that look amazing with boots having a taller shaft. These jeans are made of 59% Cotton, 20% rayon, 14% modal, 6% polyester and 1% Spandex, they are super comfortable and sit slightly below the waistline. I love the 5 pocket styling and that they are also machine washable and easy to care for.

At $49.99 these are very affordable and fit true to size. I have been wearing them with boots, ankle boots and flats and they are cool stylish. Great for running errands, dropping my son at school and just everyday life.

If you are looking for a great pair of jeans I highly recommend you stop by your local Mark’s store. There are so many styles available!
