Just in time for back to school, the brand new Playmobil Furnished School Building set is the perfect playset to get little ones excited about school.
This fun new Playmobil set is recommended for ages 5+, and it includes three adult figures, six child figures, a functioning clock with a school bell, desks, backpacks, bicycles, laptops, chairs, classroom charts, books, a skeleton, wheelchair, toilets, sinks, and tons of other accessories.
We had a chance to check it out, and our 5-year-old has been playing with it non-stop since we received it. He loves it so much that he even asked to keep it in his room. Lately, I have been hearing him playing with it in the mornings as soon as he wakes up and before he comes into our room.
I love how this set encourages creativity and has sparked conversations about him going back to school and starting Grade 1. He is getting excited about going back to school!
With this set, you get all the parts, accessories, stickers and easy to follow instructions for you to build the school. My son and I built it together, and I helped with some of the more complicated instructions. It took us about 30 minutes to put the set together.
The dimensions once the set has been built are 29.9 x 14.1 x 14.5 in (LxWxH). This is a pretty large set, and there are plenty of fun accessories, we love all the little details. There are also lots of figures and furniture to play with so great for multiple children to play with at the same time.
Here you can have a full look of the set with all accessories displayed, so colourful and fun. You can see all the details:
This set comes with a functioning digital clock that displays the time. Kids can press a button, and the school bell will ring, you can also set up an alarm and use the clock as an alarm clock for your child once school starts.
The clock can be removed from the set easily and placed on a desk or side table.
Each one of the two classrooms has so many little details.
For example, the science classroom has a skeleton, a tarantula in a box and the teacher in the middle of a biology lesson. The lab has multiple laptops and desks during a math lesson.
So many little details.
The planter on the hallway, the recycling bin and fire extinguisher on the wall.
Students can use the designed storage for all their school supplies in the downstairs lockers, before heading to class. There are stairs that connect both floors. However, the school is also wheelchair accessible, and it features ramps and an elevator to get to the second floor for those who can’t use the stairs. One of the students has a wheelchair, as well.
We love how this set includes this and helps teach children about inclusivity.
The school office upstairs comes with a coffee maker and multiple mugs for teachers to have their morning coffee. There is also a set of two bathrooms (girls/boys) and even a bike rack area outside of the school.
As you can see, this is a wonderful set filled with lots of figures, furniture and accessories, and it is perfect for encouraging creative play.
The Playmobil Furnished School Building set is great to get kids excited about school, and just like other Playmobil sets, it is built to last. This is a toy to be played with again and again and a great toy for multiple children to share.
