Can you believe back-to-school is right around the corner? It’s never too early to be thinking about the new school year. Before you know it there’ll be a new set of books, backpacks, school clothes and other supplies to buy!
I remember back-to-school-shopping was one of my favourite times of the year back when I was a child. For me it was fun going through the store aisles and picking up new notebooks, pens, and pencils and it kind of fueled my excitement about the new school year (yes I was and still am a total geek!). I went to an all girls catholic school and we had a uniforms so I didn’t get to shop for school clothes but picking up a new backpack and all the supplies was fun enough.
I really can’t wait until my son starts school and we can go back-to-school shopping with him. I think I will probably be more excited than he will be at first but I am sure that he will enjoy the process as well. I can imagine him preparing his backpack for his first day of school; such an exciting time!
Are your back-to-school shopping for your children this year? If you are then be sure to visit a Sears store near you. Sears offers affordable brand names and they also have a price match guarantee plus their Kidvantage Lifetime Wearout Warranty (offered on all kids apparel and footwear with a receipt, as long as a child in the family is wearing it!), isn’t that wonderful?
We visited our local Sears and I was impressed with their low prices, so many items on sale. My little one even got a pair of cool Spiderman sunglasses for less than $10!
Sears is sponsoring an excellent back-to-school contest on their Facebook page called “Back We Go”. Entrants have the chance to win one of five weekly $500 Sears gift card prizes, and 35 daily $50 Sears gift cards to put towards their back-to-school shopping.
