Pure Hazelwood Adjustable Anklet {Review & Giveaway}

Both of our boys have very sensitive skin and our youngest one was born with eczema. He continues to have eczema now as a toddler. I have managed to keep it under control for the most part using natural and scent-free detergents, avoiding long baths and applying moisturizers everyday but he still has flare-ups once in a while, especially during the colder months.

As I am always looking for natural alternatives to help treat his eczema I was excited to find out about Pure Hazelwood and the products they offer. The have been the world leader on the market of hazelwood products for more than 18 years. They are also pioneers on scientific research on hazelwood and they have discovered its anti-inflammatory properties to help relieve symptoms related to inflammation, including: teething pain, colic, arthritis, skin problems, digestive disorders and mouth sores.

Pure Hazelwood offers a complete line of hazel wood therapeutic jewelry, including baby and adult necklaces, bracelets (single, double, triple, and anklet), and skin care products (moisturizing lotion and zinc ointment). We received one of their Hazelwood adjustable anklets to try and I was super excited to have my son wear it. We tried amber necklaces in the past but my little guy really dislikes things hanging around his neck so I knew an anklet was the best way to go for us.

We received our anklet and he started wearing it daily. He doesn’t wear it during nap time or when he sleeps, only during awake time and he doesn’t even know it’s there, it usually hides under his socks and we both forget he is wearing it. I absolutely love the quality of the materials used in the product we received. All of their products are made of 100% natural hazelwood from the Canadian Boreal forest and they are available in pharmacies, health food stores, baby boutiques and online.

So far since wearing the anklet he has not had any eczema flare-ups. I’ve noticed that his skin is not as dry as it used to be by this time of the year and I am thankfully applying less moisturizing cream to his little body.

I am really excited to continue to use the anklet and see how the rest of the winter goes.  He is also still waiting for his molars to erupt so I am happy to have something that I can use once he starts teething as well!

    Cool, I’m all for natural remedies if one exists. Glad that you find that the anklet is helping your little one. I’m also trying pure hazelwood jewlery in the hopes that it will help keep eczema in check.
