I love the summer time. I enjoy visiting our local parks and beaches and spending lots of time outdoors with my boys. I also love being able to wear dresses and shorts and not having to wear multiple layers and bundle up when leaving the house.
Since I spend most of the summer wearing dresses I have to take good care of my skin and particularly my legs. Below I share my personal skin care routine to have healthy looking legs that are soft and smooth all summer long.
- Bath Time
Spending a lot of time outdoors with the boys, jumping on the trampoline and playing on the grass and dirt means my skin needs a good cleanse every evening. I often take a relaxing bath after the boys are in bed. I use the AVEENO® Skin Relief Gentle Scent Coconut Body Wash and I love it. My skin feels super smooth, clean and smells amazing after my baths.
The not so secret “secret” to smooth, soft legs is getting rid of unwanted hair. The Schick Intuition Advanced Moisture razor helps me moisturize while I shave. I love not having to use shaving gel and that saves me precious time and money. I also like the Skin Conditioning Solid containing Shea Butter that keeps my legs soft and healthy looking.
After a nice bath and getting rid of all unwanted hair I use the AVEENO® Skin Relief Gentle Scent Coconut Lotion to lock in moisture and replenish my skin. After applying my skin feels velvety soft and it is the perfect end to a fun day in the sun. I just love the light coconut scent as well.
Do you want beautiful, healthy skin? Make sure you use sunscreen daily, even on those cloudy, overcast days. I apply sunscreen to my face, arms and legs every morning religiously and re-apply mid-day if I have been very active or spent time in a pool or playing with water. Skin protection is super important, don’t forget that.
