SUPER WHY is a breakthrough preschool series from Out of the Blue Enterprises that is designed to help kids ages 3 to 6 with the critical skills they need to learn to read. With topics like learning the alphabet, word families, spelling, comprehension and vocabulary, the series focuses on the adventures of four friends who transform into reading-powered superheroes.
The “SUPER WHY: AROUND THE WORLD ADVENTURE” DVD features 3 learning-packed episodes and great bonus materials, including interactive games, music videos, printable activity and coloring pages. Lots of fun packed in a single DVD.
I was given the chance to review the DVD with my son and he loved SUPER WHY. The episodes are very interactive and I love that there are songs throughout the show that allow for him to sing along and get excited about learning the letters/spelling. I also like that at the same time he is learning about geography while watching the episodes and they show where different countries are in a world map.
We also loved the bonus printable activity and coloring pages. Coloring is one of our favorite activities so we love when DVDs include those.
I recommend this DVD if you have preschoolers and want to help them get started with their spelling/reading fundamentals while introducing them to geography in a fun and exciting way.
