oogaa: Making Feeding Time Fun {Giveaway}

oogaa spoon

oogaa is a company (based in the USA) that offers safe, innovative and durable products for babies and toddlers that make feeding time fun. They use the safest materials and very bright colors to create playful designs that little ones love.

We recently received a couple of their products to try out and we are having lots of fun with them.

The oogaa silicone airplane spoon we got to try is a BPA-free  spoon in the shape of an airplane. This spoon has a long handle that fits adult hands making it easy to feed baby.

Spoons oogaa

The oogaa airplane spoon is designed for children 4 months of age +, the spoon’s flexible silicone edges are super gentle on babie’s tender gums and the super bright colors are fun and playful. The spoon was a hit with my 18 month old toddler and he had a great time playing “airplane” while eating all his food. Totally great when introducing a new vegetable or when starting solids with younger children.

Spoon oogaa

The spoon also comes in an adorable train design that is bound to become a favorite as well.

We also received an oogaa silicone placemats. The mat is 15 x 10 inchs (386mm x 252mm) and it is perfect for young children because it has no sharp edges and it is made of soft safe silicone. The placemat is also BPA-free and non-slip.

I really like the design we received and I love all of the other placemat designs they offer. The colors are vibrant,  modern and eye catching. I keep the placemat in my diaper bag so I can use it when we go out to put it on top of tables and highchairs at restaurants and cafes. Super fast and easy to set up!

Playmat silicone

I love that both the spoon and the placemat are made of silicone.  Silicone products don’t deteriorate like plastic products and silicone doesn’t support the growth of fungus, mould or bacteria.

Both products are also dishwasher safe and very easy to keep clean.  We are happy with both and will recommend them to friends and family with children.  Be sure to give them a try!

Buy it: You can purchase the oogaa silicone spoons ($8.99CND) and silicone placemats ($10.99CDN) at Raspberry Kids if you are in Canada or directly from the oogaa website if you are in the United States.

Win it: One lucky Canadian reader will receive an oogaa silicone spoon and oogaa silicone placemat set. Enter to win via Rafflecopter below. Good Luck!

    Oogaa really started when Sam and her nine year old classmates tapped their creative force by drawing a menagerie of characters with googly eyes and roly-poly bodies. They decided to call them oogaas, after the old car horns that go “OO-gah”.
